Steps to Make the Football Field Snack Table
Step 1: Follow the instructions for unfolding and setting up your Rio Adventure Folding Table. This lightweight, adjustable height folding table is perfect for storing and transporting your snack table to and from tailgates. Make sure that your legs are even and that you latch the sides of your table to secure it.
While this project requires a little time upfront for assembly, it is portable and reusable all season long!
Step 8: Place all of your favorite tailgating snacks between the two goal posts and enjoy the game.
Step 2: Lay the Agrimaster Industrial Strength Tarp on the surface of the folding table. You can use A-clips to secure the extra fabric on either end of the table.
Step 5: Your goal lines are done and it is time to assemble the goal posts. Using duct tape, tape the smaller end of the Reducing Coupling Insert to a Coupling Insert Fitting. Next, tape a Tee Insert Fitting to the other end of the Coupling Insert Fitting. Attach an Elbow Insert Fitting to each side of the Tee Insert Fitting. Make sure each elbow is angled straight up. Finally, tape a Coupling Insert Fitting to both Elbow Insert Fittings. This will establish the uprights. Repeat these steps to create a second goal post.
Step 3: Now it is time for your goal lines. Measure 8” from the end of the table. Center and stick the bottom of your Packers decal here. Now repeat this on the other end with your Bears bumper sticker. Measure 1/2” below the bumper sticker and stretch a strip of white electrical tape from one side of the table to the other. Cut the end of the tape with your Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier and smooth it out. Repeat this step below the other bumper sticker.
Step 6: Next wrap colored electrical tape around each goal post. The goal posts don’t have to be yellow – you can select your two favorite colors or your home team’s colors!
Step 7: Place your two Fernco, Inc. Stock Couplings behind each goal line. Insert the base of your goal posts into each coupling and tighten the clasp using your Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier.
Step 4: To create your 50 yard line, measure the halfway mark of your table (approximately 24”) and place another strip of electrical tape. Your table should now be all marked off!
